Since when did sexual innuendo in photos of ADULTS turn to child pornography?? Oh that’s right…NEVER

All they do by freaking out and calling attention to this is, HEY call more attention to it....GO FIGURE

The other day I was talking to my daughter about a show that we both love…Glee.  She was talking about a controversy that was going on and just assumed I knew what the Hell she was talking about.  I said, “No, I have no clue what you are talking about” and she said “there are these pictures in GQ that everyone is making this big stink over”.  Well curiosity got the best of me and of course I asked her if she had a link to these pictures.  She proceeded to tell me that certain groups of the moral majority are calling these pics child pornography.  HOLD THE FUCK UP.  Without even seeing the pics yet, I was appalled at that statement because I know for a fact that not one of these actors is under the age of 24.

So is this REALLY something to make a huge fuss over??

When I got to the GQ site I was a little surprised by the pics but quite amused at the same time.  Anyone that knows me also knows I like to push the envelope as far as I can when it comes to sexual innuendo especially when it comes to pissing people off.  I don’t get what the big deal is with this.  These people think they are fighting the good fight to protect our children all the while they are bringing attention to the issue and making our kids want to look even more.  They may as well put a neon sign with a direct link to the pics saying kids click me right NOW or better yet, DON’T click me because there is something sexual and you KNOW you want to stay a virgin forever.  Geez, do you think they are going to actually walk away from that?

Sorry but I just think this a cute shot whether it is meant to be sexy or not

What I don’t understand is, what is the big fucking deal?  I mean how many kids are really going to go out and buy GQ for one but lets get to the root of the problem.  How can anyone make a claim that two 24 year olds and a 27 year old are posing in a magazine and then calling it child pornography or promoting pedophilia?  That is probably one of the most asinine statements I have heard in my 43 years and believe me I have heard many of them in my time, in fact too many to count.  When mainstream news shows shot that claim down then they came out and said they were objectifying these “kids” who play children on TV.  Objectifying??  Really?  You know what I have to say?  BULLSHIT.

Seductive and sexy but not dirty or pornographic. I just don't get why ANYONE with a brain would think so.

These people are grown ups and I hate to tell these people that are complaining, the youth of today are a lot more savvy about sex than we were when we were their age and one more photo shoot is not going to make or break that sexual knowledge.  The whole idea of these ADULT ACTORS having to put a halt to their lives because some sexually repressed old biddies don’t approve of a few pictures really kind of pisses me off.  Who are we to say what they can do in their personal lives.

24 year old Dianna Agron who plays head cheerleader Quinn fulfilling every males fantasy of the hot sexy cheerleader but it is still not child pornography because SHE'S AN ADULT

This is nothing more than another fine example of the sexually repressed society which we live in. There is nothing wrong with a pretty girl showing some skin with her clothes on and by teaching kids that it’s wrong, we are sending a message that it’s bad for a girl to be sexy looking, and in the long run that sex is bad. .

These are nothing more than sexy photographs. All fully dressed people, no nudity in site. Extremely young children will not grasp the sexier meaning, since they have no hormones racing through their bodies yet.  As far as your Tweens and teens, believe me there is far worse on cable TV every night of the week, but the ones squawking the loudest wouldn’t know that would they because they’re not paying attention to what their kids are watching, so when something like this comes up, they all freak out at once.

Not much to say about this except she looks totally hot here and most of these women throwing a fit WISH they could look this hot on a GOOD day

There are so many  young “starlets” that get a pass for everything they do, from underage drinking and drug abuse, compromising photos, acting vulgar and inappropriate (3 guesses what bitch I am talking about) and the list goes on.  These are stars of teen movies and TV shows yet 3 grown adults pose for sexy pics on their own time and all of the sudden they are villianized?  I could understand if one of them posed for Playboy…actually no I couldn’t because THEY ARE ADULTS!!!!!!  Would it be good judgement on their parts to do that? Maybe not but just like this photo shoot it would be their prerogative and for us as normal people, who are we to judge them, for that matter who are we to judge ANYONE???  I have been judged in one way or another my whole life so I know how it feels and it sucks.

As a mother I am fully aware that the more we try and repress our teens the more they will rebel and believe me I am NOT prepared for my tween daughter to even entertain the idea of having any type of sexual relationship, infact I believe she is level headed enough to know that sex is not something that is right for her and won’t be for some time.  I have never tried to shield her from things that I feel she would learn someplace else and therefore I don’t see these photos as that offensive.  Would I want to see ACTUAL young girls pose like this, of course not although it happens. Look at the Miley Cyrus shoot a few years ago where she was almost naked only cloaked in a sheet.  I don’t even know if she was 16 yet.  If seeing beloved Hannah Montana barely dressed didn’t warp my daughter’s mind, I have a feeling she will be just fine seeing these pics and rest assured so will your kids.  Relax.

24 year old Lea Michelle who plays over achiever Rachel not looking too geeky here but still NOT even pornographic not to mention child porn

I think that the moral majority has way too much time on their hands if all they have to do is sit around and look for things to be pissed off and appalled about. I read that along with several positive awards, Glee has also won a Worst TV Show of the Week condemnation from the Parents Television Council, which cited “a veiled reference to fellatio, a speech denouncing abstinence, simulated sex during a musical dance number, and premature ejaculation.” Apparently they missed the episode in which “Puck” laced the bake-sale cupcakes with medical marijuana and got away with it.  I guess sex is evil but drugs are A-Okay in their book?  Make up your fucking minds people.

For my friends who might read this, I hope you don’t get offended by the blog but I think you all know me well enough by now to know I really hate hypocritical judgemental people and this kind of shit bugs the fuck out of me.  I hope you will comment and tell me your point of view on this matter and these photos.  A lot of you are Glee fans, do you think they went too far?

As for the people that are dubbing this pedophilia, get a grip, get a fucking life and go get laid.  Maybe you will figure this whole sex thing out one of these days and not be such bitter old biddies.

  1. I agree completely. our children see a whole lot worse everyday on TV… these grown women have on MORE clothing than the women in the victoria’s secret ads.

  2. it really gets me how people are playing the “child pornography” card or whatever….these glee starts are ADULTS who play teens therefore there is nothing wrong with the pictures. i agree w/ the previous comment, there is a whole lot worse being shown on tv that makes this mild.

  3. i don’t mean to backtrack but looking at the pics again i GUESS i can see why some poeple would be bothered by this but still….there’s alot worse out there and it is so easy for kids to look up stuff on the internet if their curious about it. but again these are adults and they are free to take whatever kinds of pictures they want to take.

  6. I drive by these homeless men sleeping under an overpass whenever i have to take Jim to work, and these people have nothing better to do than obsess over some pictures featuring adults? Sorry but I prefer to spend my time worrying about legitimate concerns, such as those homeless men not having a place to sleep in the richest country in America.

    • That is not your concern either — That is the fault and responsibility of those men you speak of. The true concern is how to get that POS that usurped his way into the oval office and to throw that bum out of there immediately — That is a legitimate concern! Put your mind to that!
